 
        
        Overview 
We are a high volume cake manufacturer. We are looking for an experienced mixer pastry chef/cake decorator/cake finisher to join our team. 
Duties will include, but not limited to: 
Masking and decorating cakes 
Measuring and mixing of ingredients 
Follow production/recipe sheets 
Finishing and packaging of products 
Cleaning and wash up of production and other areas 
Other occasional tasks related to your role 
Qualifications 
Excellent piping and cake masking skills 
Be creative in your field 
Valuable communication and basic math skills 
Robust team player 
Ability to take direction 
Ability to use your initiative 
Self motivated and enthusiastic nature 
Friendly personality 
Ability to adapt to change 
HACCP knowledge – highly regarded but not essential 
Previous experience in a similar role within a pastry/cake kitchen will be an added advantage 
Fit and healthy individual - essential 
Must be able to lift 15 kg

This is an ideal Mon-Fri day shift operation 7 am start. Work life balance assured. Growth opportunities.
