Commercial Project Manager - Construction Townsville
$200,000 – $250,000 (depending on experience) + super
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to to run a number of new commercial/retail projects. We are ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and is prepared to work on-site, not in a purely off-site office role.
This position is suited to a proactive, practical Project Manager who is comfortable being visible on site, driving outcomes, and working closely with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with architects and the planning team to ensure designs and working drawings are practical, efficient, and fit for purpose
Develop and assist with project budgets
Assist with Development Approvals
Assist with obtaining Building Approvals
Schedule production and coordinate trades
Tender and award trade packages
Monitor and drive onsite production and program delivery
Liaise with major and minor tenants
Oversee and ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WPH&S) requirements
About You:
Proven experience as a Project Manager on civil or construction projects
Strong onsite leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and trades
Commercially minded with budgeting and scheduling experience
Solutions-focused and delivery-driven
Willingness to be actively involved in day-to-day site operations
