Job Title: Health & Safety Coordinator
This is a key role in the development and implementation of health and safety systems and strategies that promote a positive safety culture across our workforce.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture within the organization.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement health and safety strategies to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop safe work methods to prevent workplace hazards.
* Maintain accurate records of health and safety reports and audits.
* Collaborate with laboratory managers and project managers to develop and implement health and safety systems and strategies.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of work health and safety legislation and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with workers and stakeholders.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs and systems.
