Description
he focus of this role is on producing high-quality, detailed work by following established standards, guidelines, and procedures. As an MC Driver, you will be responsible for completing local farm pickups of fresh produce, ensuring every load is handled with care and precision. The role requires a strong understanding of transport regulations and the ability to consistently meet delivery schedules without error. Your day will involve using a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload freight, completing accurate paperwork, and ensuring all pre-start checks, run sheets, PODs, and logbooks are up to date. This is a stable position where you will receive structured training and support to develop specific knowledge of the job. What You’ll Be Doing:
✔️ Based in Innisfail, operating a truck to complete local farm pickups of fresh produce
✔️ Using a forklift & pallet jack for loading and unloading
✔️ Completing pre-start checks, run sheets, PODs, and logbooks with precision
✔️ Ensuring compliance with rules and regulations for protected transport
✔️ Providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships with the local community
Qualifications
What You Need:
✅ MC Truck Licence (current)
✅ Forklift Licence
✅ Understanding of transport regulations & job-specific procedures
✅ Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including Drug & Alcohol Screening)
✅ Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
