The position is a service and support role that entails both remote onsite and workshop-based tasks and can be based in both Surface and Underground environments.
- Prompt response to onsite service bookings
- Optimisation of workshop and field service activities
- High levels of quality and workmanship
- Ability to work in remote and harsh environments
- Ability to follow all requirements whilst working on customer premise
Key Accountabilities:
Safety:
- Ensure a culture and practice of safety compliance on all sites and offices.
- Take a lead role in the promotion and management of safety, including participation in the monitoring of site safety; ensure completion of safety audits and a proactive approach to rectification.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and unobstructed work area, practicing good safety habits, and utilise appropriate safety equipment.
- Understand OH & S responsibilities; observe and report any potentially unsafe or unhealthy work conditions.
- Ensure all employees take reasonable care of health and safety of others.
- Follow all customer premise-based rules
Customer Service:
- Displays a positive attitude and excels in the customers team environment.
- Ability to perform unsupervised.
- Displays initiative to engage work actively without direct supervision.
- Displays a high level of focus on delivering customer satisfaction.
Technical Management:
Commitment and Proficiency in the following:
- Complete installations at MST workshop or on customer premises when required.
- Assist & support higher level technicians on technical tasks on site and in the workshop
- Ability to follow and execute written technical instructions (essential)
- Use of basic hand tools (essential)
- Use of Microsoft software, Emails, Work, Excel.
- Time management and prioritisation of technical tasks
- Basic understanding of networking & network devices (eg IP Address)
- Commitment to applying Occupational Health and Safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
- Understanding individual customer requirements and practices
Administrative Procedures:
- Completes all administrative processes on time and accurately.
- Submit previous weeks' time sheet in line with prescribed deadlines.
- Submit all workshop and service documentation inclusive of quality assurance checklists.
- Job Sheet Sign off by site contact.
- Maintain company vehicle documentation (when used); this is to include daily checks and pre-emptive servicing.
- Maintains company vehicles to a high level of cleanliness and serviceability.
Desired Skills and Experience:

- Basic understanding of networking & network devices (eg IP Address)
