Centre Manager

Are you a nurturing, fun loving people person with experience leading and managing a team? We are looking for a passionate Centre Manager to join our experienced management team.

Little Saints Early Education and Care is a boutique family-owned centre, nestled in the natural surrounds of West Burleigh. At Little Saints, we are passionate about early childhood education, with a strong focus on Nature play which is complimented by our amazing outdoor environments and facilities and Forest School program. We pride ourselves on our warm relationships with families and a strong sense of community within the centre.

The right candidate will:

* Be able to do it all (or learn!) by supporting and working alongside the team but also managing and leading with confidence.

* Have knowledge, management skills and attitude to lead and motivate a team with direction and passion.

* Create a thriving internal culture that strives for continuous improvement.

* Connect and create long term relationships and friendships with our children and families.

* Show genuine excitement in our children's interests and experiences and help them to explore their ideas.

* Be able to assist and implement an outstanding learning environment and program working collaboratively with our Educational Leader and Outdoor Educator.

* Experience and confidence with handling difficult conversations with parents and staff professionally.

* Have experience or ability and desire to learn OWNA and other administrative software.

* Be flexible and excited to work on the floor alongside your team when needed.

* Complete all HR duties including – recruiting, onboarding, inducting, training and importantly continuous follow up training, proactive performance management and termination if needed.

* Complete all administrative duties such as managing rosters, payroll, compliance, answering phones, enrolment enquiries and tours.

* Be able to work preferably 5 days per week but flexibility/part time may be possible for the right candidate.

* Initiative to follow tasks through completely and follow up for review/reflection.

* Align with our vision and values.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience as a Centre Manager

* A confident, kind and calm leadership style with strong communication and organisational skills.

* Strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS and EYLF.

* A genuine love for connecting with families and building strong community relationships.

* Hold a current valid Blue Card.

* Hold an Early Childhood Qualification.

* A current Blue Card, Current First Aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis Training.

* A current Child Protection Training Certificate CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025.

* A clean Prohibited Persons notification on the ACECQA website.
