Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is seeking passionate educators to join Ipswich Early Education Centre (EEC). We have openings for:

* Assistant Educator
* Lead Educator

Whether you are starting your career or stepping into leadership, this is your chance to be part of a supportive, values-driven centre that believes in community, nature, and joy in learning.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, up to 38 hours per week (flexible options available)

Location: Ipswich

Compensation: Up to $43/hr + super + 10% retention (based on qualification and role)

Assistant Educator

Provide high-quality care and education for children while supporting the room leader and contributing to a collaborative, engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with daily routines and program implementation for children aged 0–5 years
* Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
* Help maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment
* Build positive relationships with children and families
* Work under the guidance of Lead Educators

Qualifications & Attributes:

* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (minimum)
* Current Blue Card
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Passion for outdoor, nature-based education

Lead Educator

Lead Educators are responsible for guiding a room with creativity and confidence, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality educational programs.

Responsibilities:

* Lead curriculum planning and program delivery for children aged 0–5 years
* Mentor and support Assistant Educators
* Foster inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environments
* Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and centre standards

Qualifications & Attributes:

* Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum)
* Current Blue Card
* Leadership experience and strong curriculum knowledge
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
