About the Role As Head of Department, you’ll oversee a task-based team of 8 staff and manage a portfolio of approximately 800 properties. Your focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of the department and supporting the team to deliver exceptional service.

Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Lead and mentor the property management team.
- Oversee trust accounting and receipting.
- Manage workflows and department performance.
- Handle occasional BDM tasks such as appraisals.
- Maintain compliance and operational excellence.
About the Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a natural born leader! The successful candidate lucky enough to secure this position will have:
- Proven leadership experience in property management, with a strong record of team success
- In-depth knowledge of QLD tenancy laws and minimum housing standards
- Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and people skills
- Confident in budgeting, financial reporting and performance analysis
- Skilled in managing risk and resolving conflict with a solutions-first approach
- Holds a current QLD Real Estate Licence
- Has a valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle
