Guardian Facilities and Property Management Pty ltd – Traralgon VIC

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Guardian Facilities and Property Management Pty ltd, primarily based on a contract in Traralgon, VIC 3844. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of our clients' commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and operating efficiently.


What you'll be doing

* Scheduling and overseeing the completion of routine maintenance tasks, such as planned maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
* Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the timely completion of work in a safe manner.
* Monitoring and reporting on the condition of facilities, identifying and addressing any issues or areas for improvement.
* Ensuring all contractors, trades, staff and on‑site visitors meet strict safety policy and procedures.
* Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the facilities management process including monthly invoicing and reporting.
* Providing support and guidance to clients on‑site personnel, as needed.
* Being present and monitoring high‑risk works on client sites.


What we're looking for

* Proven experience in a facilities or property management role, preferably within the commercial sector.
* Minimum 1‑2 years of facilities or property management experience required.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
* A good understanding of health and safety, building systems, maintenance procedures, and relevant regulations.
* Practical experience in building systems and maintenance procedures is essential.
* Proficiency in using facilities management software and other relevant tools.
* A proactive and problem‑solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in facilities management, building maintenance, OH&S, or a related field would be an advantage.
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
