Main responsibilities include preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment, following health and safety regulations and collaborating with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a cook, strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety and hygiene practices, ability to work well under pressure, maintain composure during busy service periods, passion for food, creativity in cooking, keen eye for detail and strong teamwork and communication skills. Additionally, you must be available to work a rotating roster including weekends.
