Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join our on-site team at our Moe, VIC office. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, ledgers, and budgets, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Daily tasks involve providing expert advice on tax planning, capital gains tax planning, and strategic business planning, as well as preparing and lodging income tax returns and business activity statements. The role also includes offering bookkeeping and administration support to business clients.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ledgers
* Experience in developing and analyzing budgets, along with compliance with accounting standards
* Skilled in providing tax planning, capital gains tax planning, and strategic business planning advice
* Knowledgeable in preparing and lodging income tax returns and business activity statements
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently on-site in Moe, VIC
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* CPA or CA qualification is a plus
* Experience in the financial services industry is beneficial
