Medical Laboratory Assistant Job Overview

Main Responsibilities:
* Contribute to a comprehensive pathology collection service in inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings.
* Deliver high-quality healthcare services to all referrers and consumers.
* Perform venepuncture and other specimen collection duties, as well as data entry, processing, and delivery into sites for pathology investigations.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Pathology Collections or equivalent experience in venepuncture, with the ability to learn all aspects of the clinical environment.
* Demonstrated customer service skills, including effective communication with patients, carers, and clinical staff.
* Valid Class C Driver's License (NSW) or capacity to travel to any site for a shift.
* Flexibility to participate in shift type work, including weekends, and travel to various locations within the operational area.
