We partner with industry, government, and the community to drive innovation and achieve success.As an Administrative Support Officer, you'll take on complex local and global challenges, using your skills and experience to drive meaningful change.
Here's how you'll make it matter:Assist in managing the flow of information; establishing and maintaining administrative systems, including spreadsheets, information systems, registers, online booking systems, procedures and databases; record management/filing; preparing routine and ad hoc correspondence; undertake minor updates of web content.Manage generic email accounts; assist with organisation of events, activities and mail-outs; maintain website content and use desktop publishing to produce presentations, and spreadsheets and charts to prepare high quality reports and papers.Manage diary and travel bookings, liaise with other areas within the University, and provide administrative support to working parties/ad hoc committees as needed.Provide general administrative support, including ordering stationery, catering and routine procurement, managing room bookings, organising meetings, building access, taxi vouchers and visitor parking.About youWhat matters most is your drive to create a brighter future that benefits all.
Through our core principles of excellence, ethics and engagement, you'll thrive on seeing the direct and lasting impact you'll have on every community and every future.You will also have:An associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge and experience.Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to ensure that records, data, and procedures are accurate and up to date.Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple systems (spreadsheets, databases, registers, booking systems) efficiently.Ability to prepare clear and professional correspondence, both routine and ad hoc.Experience in managing calendars and making travel arrangements.What we can offerThis is a continuing, full time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast.
As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University's sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.Salary RangeThe full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 4 range $73,623 - $77,680 per annum + 17% superannuation.
