We are seeking a proactive and creative Communications Manager to lead the development and delivery of strategic communications that support advocacy, stakeholder engagement, member visibility, and event success in a dynamic and future-facing sector. The Communications Manager will play a key role in promoting advanced transport solutions that improve safety, sustainability, and accessibility for all Australians. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across digital, media, and member communications. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement communications campaigns supporting advocacy, policy, and events. Raise the organisation’s key messaging through targeted media engagement, industry storytelling and press opportunities. Manage media releases, press partnerships, speaker/media liaison, and onsite event coverage. Build engagement across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram), newsletters and stakeholder communications. Support members and their work through collaborative storytelling, profiles, and joint media opportunities. What You’ll Bring: Proven experience delivering strategic communications in complex or technical environments. Excellent writing and content development skills. Strong digital literacy (Craft CMS, MailChimp, Canva, Adobe CS, Zoom). Confidence managing media relations, press releases, and social media content. Interpersonal skills for building productive relationships with members, stakeholders, and media. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and interpret small budgets.
