Fantastic opportunity for a **Change and Communications Manager** to join the Metcash team on a Fixed Term Contract initially for 12mths. The Change and Communications Manager role focuses on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
**What you'll do**
The primary responsibility will be to work with key stakeholders (within and external to the project) to design, deliver and implement fit for purpose change management and communications strategies and plans using the Metcash Delivery Success framework that;
- Inform and prepare our people to adopt and embrace change and ensure they have the right capability to succeed in their new environment
- Create, develop, and deliver communications content, ensuring our messaging is consistent and engaging
- Ensure business readiness for change, identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and potential impacts to business operations
- Maximise employee adoption and engagement
**What you'll bring**
- Previous experience in a change management role within complex project, program environments.
- Change Management Qualifications and/or accreditations
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
- Ability to connect and work alongside all levels within the program and broader organization
- Strong collaborator with solid, writing, editing, and proofreading skills and experience in managing a variety of communication platforms using fit for purpose platforms/formats
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to set and communicate purpose and direction
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Negotiation & Influencing skills
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
