We're looking for a reliable MR Truck Driver to join our Southern Tasmania division. This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Bridgewater yard — perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, values genuine job stability, and wants to be part of a company that treats its people right.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing excellent service to our customers by collecting full scrap metal bins and delivering empty bins efficiently and safely.
* Following daily collection schedules to keep operations running smoothly.
* Communicating with management about any on-site issues, including safety, environmental, or collection concerns.
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with our safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Building strong, lasting relationships with our loyal Hobart customer base.
* Supporting yard operations when required.
What You'll Bring
* A current MR or HR licence with proven experience
* Forklift licence (LF) or tickets for load-shifting equipment (excavators, etc.) — highly desired
* Experience operating a Hiab crane on a flat truck — highly desired (training available for the right candidate)
* A strong customer service focus and professional communication skills — you'll be the face of TMR with our Hobart clients
* The ability to work independently, stay organised, and adapt to changing priorities
* Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
* A team player with a commitment to safe work practices
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience in waste management, recycling, metal or similar industries
