The Role
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Service Manager with Audio Visual (AV) industry experience to lead and support our service division.
This role requires someone who understands AV systems, can confidently support technicians, allocate jobs effectively and balance schedules while maintaining strong operational control.
Key Responsibilities:
* Allocate and manage daily and weekly service schedules
* Balance technician workloads efficiently
* Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians
* Assist in resolving on-site AV service issues
* Oversee job completion, documentation, notes and photos
* Review, prepare and issue service invoices
* Ensure all jobs are accurately managed within our management software
* Liaise with clients regarding service bookings and updates
* Maintain structured systems and operational processes
* Monitor technician performance and accountability
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in the Audio Visual (AV) industry
* Strong technical understanding of AV equipment, installations and troubleshooting
* Experience managing and allocating field technicians
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Experience with job management systems is an advantage, training will be provided
* Confident communication and leadership ability
* High attention to detail
