See yourself in the team. Everyday Business Banking supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs, from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We manage the end-to-end experience for Cash Management and Payments Acceptance products, as well as Customer Lifecyle Management and the development of leading customer propositions. The Transaction Growth and Propositions team exists to bring the ‘Best of CommBank’ Transaction Banking solutions to customers, to meet their current and future needs. Our Customer Success team works alongside our frontline relationship teams, specialists, product partners, marketing, and compliance, to source and create sales enablement artefacts for frontline teams in Commercial Banking, Major Client Group, and Regional and Agribusiness. We also provide transaction banking expertise and training for frontline teams and customers across these segments. Do work that matters. This role is a key enabler for customer success — focused on building deep transaction banking capabilities, and a high performing sales culture across our Transaction Banking Specialists. You will play a pivotal role in helping our frontline not only deliver solutions but educate customers and key stakeholders on the power of transaction banking in meeting evolving business needs. As part of the Transaction Banking Customer Success team, you will drive initiatives that uplift sales performance, capability, and deliver experiences our customers will love. A major focus for FY26 will be the further development and scaling of our Business Banking and Institutional Banking, Transaction Banking Academy, so we can exceed the expectations of our customers. You will work across the seams with Product, Operations, HR, and Frontline teams to design and embed AI-powered enablement, strengthen sales excellence practises, and elevate the productivity and efficacy of the Transaction Banking Solutions team. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we grow capability at scale—empowering our frontline to lead with insight and deliver exceptional customer outcomes. To be successful in this role, responsibilities may include: Sales Enablement & Capability Building Translate product and sales strategy into clear, actionable initiatives that drive banker productivity and deepen customer conversations. Equip frontline teams to function as advocates—confidently articulating transaction banking solutions and how they meet customer needs. Find and close capability gaps using data, feedback, and performance insights. Strengthen consistency in solutioning, deal conversion, and cross-sell across the sales force. AI-Powered Learning & Scalable Programs Design and deliver or source, scalable enablement programs across specialist onboarding, continuous learning, and leader-led coaching. Use AI tools to create engaging, targeted content that simplifies complexity and drives behavioural change. Collaborate with SMEs, product, and sales leaders to produce high-quality content and customer-facing collateral. Leadership Enablement & Strategic Influence Build or leverage tools and frameworks that uplift coaching, pipeline discipline, and performance conversations. Function as a trusted advisor to the Transaction Banking Leadership team—delivering initiatives that increase visibility and impact across Business Banking. Provide insights and recommendations that inform future investment in capability and sales acceleration. Performance Measurement & Growth Pathways Use data and reporting to measure uplift in frontline capability, engagement, and business outcomes. Monitor and refine programs based on performance data and qualitative feedback. Share insights that demonstrate the value of enablement investments and shape future strategy. We are interested in hearing from people who possess the following: Firsthand experience as a Sales Enablement Specialist or similar role in sales training Relevant experience in Transaction Banking or a related financial services environment. Demonstrated experience using AI to drive enablement programs. Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality pitch and proposal documentation tailored to customer needs. Knowledge of sales processes and proven experience in creating sales tools and resources. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and work across the seams.
