Your key responsibilities:
As our highly valued Registered Nurse,you'll use your clinicalexpertiseto deliver world classpatient-focused careto regional QLD.
Basedin Gladstone, you will workwith ourvisitingCardiologists and Specialist Cardiac Physiologists to support ourregional patients andimprove outcomes for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
In this role you will:
* Work closely with visiting Advara Cardiologists and Cardiac Sonographers, to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.
* Perform resting 12 lead ECG's, blood pressures and application of 24 hour Holter monitors.
* Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and managing any adverse reactions promptly.
* Supervise stress echocardiograms alongside a multidisciplinary team. This includes dynamic ECG monitoring and clinical management of adverse events.
* Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures to improve health literacy and outcomes.
* Manage patient data collection, validation, and documentation via electronic medical records.
* Provide front of clinic support with minor administrative duties (meet and greet, distribute and collect patient forms).
What we need you to have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in cardiology, critical care, or similar nursing role. A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ECG analysis and interpretation.
* Proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
* Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
We would also love you to have:
* Postgraduate qualifications in cardiology, critical care or a related field.
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to complete.
* Proficiency in IV cannulation or willingness to develop.
* Experience with electronic health records.
* Proficiency in both independent and team-oriented work environments.
