.Net Support Engineer
The opportunity
As our .Net Support Engineer, you'll be part of an industry-leading program supporting and developing web applications that positively impact millions of Australians. Working with high-profile clients and projects, you will gain exposure to bespoke design systems and collaborate with exceptional technologists.
Applicants must be Australian citizens and able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne or Warrang – Sydney.
Your key responsibilities
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support web applications and some cloud infrastructure for clients across Australia. This role suits someone with developer experience looking to advance their career as a senior .Net Developer.
* Resolve client requests promptly based on delivery commitments.
* Monitor requests via email, ITSM tickets, and phone calls.
* Investigate incidents to prevent recurrence.
* Support Service Delivery Managers in creating monthly operational reports.
* Escalate operational issues to SDMs, senior staff, or the Lead - Application Management Services.
* Prepare for client meetings with knowledge of current and backlog tickets.
* Participate in incident management and be available for "on call" duties up to 2 weeks per month.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation of client platforms.
* Assist in preparing proposals or pitch decks for prospective clients.
Skills and attributes for success
* Understanding of C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Framework / .NET Core).
* Experience with ASP.NET MVC / Web API for building or maintaining web applications and APIs.
* Basic front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
* Ability to write and understand SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
* Experience with CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Kentico, Sitefinity, Umbraco.
* Experience with Git and tools like GitHub or Azure DevOps.
* Knowledge of ITIL or DevOps practices.
