About the team – The Talent & Recruitment team are responsible for leading the delivery of recruitment operations, supporting the coordination of talent programs, and ensuring consistent and compliant recruitment practices across the organisation. Ensuring continuous improvement of recruitment and talent practices, including workforce planning initiatives that support the ASC’s strategic workforce needs.

About the role – The Talent & Recruitment Officer supports the delivery of recruitment services and talent initiatives across the ASC. The role contributes to the coordination and delivery of recruitment activities, talent programs and workforce capability initiatives, working closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to support effective and timely hiring outcomes. In this role you will contribute across both recruitment operations and talent initiatives depending on organisational priorities and program activity.

The duties of the Talent & Recruitment Officer include, but are not limited to:

* Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for the ASC including administering the eRecruitment system, maintain accurate information and providing user support, reviewing selection reports, developing employment offers, in addition to coordinating the onboarding process.
* Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers and selection panels on recruitment policies, processes and best practice selection approaches.
* Maintain and administer the ASC’s eRecruitment system (HireRoad), including supporting users, maintaining accurate recruitment records and assisting with system-related enquiries.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of recruitment guidance, templates and process documentation.
* Support the coordination and delivery of talent initiatives such as graduate programs, high potential talent programs and other workforce capability initiatives.
* Liaise with program participants, internal stakeholders and external providers to coordinate program activities including assessments, workshops and development activities.
* Assist with the preparation of program communications, materials, briefings and stakeholder updates.
* Provide administrative and coordination support for talent-related projects and initiatives delivered by the People and Culture branch.
* Provide timely advice and support to managers and employees on recruitment and talent-related enquiries.
* Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and guidance materials within the Talent and Recruitment function

About you – The role requires strong coordination skills, sound judgement, and the ability to provide practical advice and support to stakeholders within established policies and frameworks.The successful candidate(s) will demonstrate:
* Proven capability in Recruitment with demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes and/or talent initiatives in a government or corporate environment.
* Demonstrated experience in interpreting, applying and advising on Enterprise Agreements, policy and procedure and HR best practice.
* Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and support to internal clients.
* Experience working with eRecruitment systems, such as HireRoad or similar platforms.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
* Sound judgement and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information
The following criteria are desirable and will be well regarded:
* Experience supporting talent development programs such as graduate or leadership initiatives.
* Experience working in a government HR environment.
* Familiarity with procurement, contract management or financial administration processes.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position applicants are required to be Australian citizens only and must be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
As part of the Commonwealth Child Safety Framework the ASC is committed to being a Child Safe Organisation and leading the way in Child Safety across the sports sector. This position requires a Working with Vulnerable/Children People check to obtain employment.
