We're passionate about delivering top-quality products and exceptional customer service. As a growing industry leader in Airconditioning, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Manager professional to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

Drive commercial HVAC revenue growth across Queensland by acquiring and expanding relationships with mechanical contractors, specifiers, consultants, and builders. The BDM will deliver spec‐influence, win targeted projects, and strengthen Polyaire's presence in the commercial HVAC space, aligned with strategic priorities like AirTouch adoption and project pipeline development.

Key responsibilities 1. Revenue Growth & New Business Development
* Secure $1M+ in commercial sales within 12 months
* Win 5+ new active Tier 2/3 contractor accounts in 9 months
* Drive sales across Polyaire's commercial range (ducting, grilles, controls, and AirTouch)
* Influence specifications on 5+ commercial projects annually via consultants and engineers
* Track and convert project pipeline via CRM (HubSpot), ensuring visibility across stages
3. Relationship Management
* Build high‐trust relationships across contractors, consultants, and builders
* Become a go‐to resource for HVAC product guidance and project support
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Liaise with Estimating, Ops, and Supply Chain to ensure project delivery excellence
2. Maintain
* Commercial Acumen: Deep knowledge of margin drivers, project flows, and rebates
* Influence Without Authority: Can shape spec and project outcomes cross-functionally
* Technical Confidence: Speaks credibly about ducting specs and control systems
* Pipeline Discipline: Maintains a visible, accurate pipeline in CRM
* Stakeholder EQ: Navigates complex relationships with high trust
* Experience: 5+ years in B2B HVAC or commercial construction sales
* Knowledge: Deep understanding of duct systems, grilles, diffusers, controls (AirTouch a plus)
* CRM Proficiency: Comfortable using HubSpot or similar systems
* Sales DNA: Self-driven, persuasive, and focused on winning new business
