The opportunity: We are currently recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team based in Visy Board, Wiri. This is a permanent full-time position working minimum 40 hours per week, on the afternoon shift (3.30pm start). Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Operate forklift in accordance with site safety standards and procedures. Loading machines with raw materials and movement of finished goods from production lines to designated areas. Picking, stacking, and staging of product for load building. Use of electronic inventory management tools such as scanners and tablets. What you will bring to the team: As our new Forklift Operator, you will have previous experience operating forklifts and machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be a reliable team player, with a strong work ethic. You have good communication skills and process a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices. Along with the following: Ability to work an 8-12 hour shift depending on needs of the business. Experience operating a fork hoist and a valid forklift licence is essential. Completion of Forklift Attachment Training is highly desirable. Proven ability to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.
