**About the Role**
- IRT Catering is seeking to appoint a passionate **Catering Assistant** to join our team, working on a **part time**basis;**must be available**Tuesday & Wednesday minimum - 6.00am to 2.30pm or 8.30am to 5.00pm (rotating schedule).
As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for the preparation of high quality foods including cooking, chilling, batch assembly, labelling, storage and stock rotation in compliance with HACCP food guidelines. You will also be responsible for a range of cleaning duties including the general work area and commercial production equipment, whilst adhering to safety and hygiene systems in accordance with legislation.
Reporting to the Production Operations Manager, you will assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the Production and Distribution areas of the Catering Services Centre through performing the full range of tasks associated with food preparation.
**To Be Successful You Will Have**
- Demonstrated experience working with commercial cooking equipmen
- t Sound level verbal and written communication skill
- s Sound organisational skills Proven attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary tea
- m Ability to plan and prioritise own work to meet deadline
- s A genuine interest in Catering and/or Aged Car
- e Desirable: Experience in picking & packing orders and assembly of produc
- t Desirable: Demonstrate a knowledge of HACC
- P Desirable: Demonstrate an awareness of computer systems including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel operating in a Microsoft Windows environmen
