The applicant must be well presented and able to work both within a team and autonomously.

* Experience in the flooring industry highly advantageous.

Your main objective will be to meet and exceed sales targets by establishing strong customer relationships, providing expert advice and guidance, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Extensive sales experience from within the following will also be highly considered

* large format/big box retailer
* showroom retail/sales or design - colour consultant in building or construction industry
* Kitchen, blinds, furniture or Tiles
* Understanding of measurements and floor plans a must

The role requires the successful applicant to have and do the following;

* Provide quotations for showroom customers, local B2B customers and follow that up and close the sale.
* Carry out site-measures
* A people person that can listen and understand the consumers needs quickly and ascertain what is required to assist them through the journey to achieve their desired outcome for flooring.
* Computer literacy
* Closely monitor your sales and outstanding quotes pipeline, and achieve sales targets and kpi's both individually and for the store.
* Well presented and articulate
* Punctual
* Uniform provided

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and excellent customer service. As a Flooring Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of flooring products to our clients. Must have a current driver's licence. Tools of the trade will be provided.

This position is a full-time role with two Saturdays per month 9am to 1pm which will give you an RDO

Salary negotiable based on experience. Uncapped Monthly commission

(Motor vehicle, phone, laptop provided).
