Internal Sales Manager The Recruitment People are a business providing recruitment and HR solutions to businesses nationally. On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Manager to lead, develop and optimise a busy internal sales function across both B2B and B2C markets. This is a hands-on leadership role, but it also requires someone who can bring structure, strategy and best practice to the internal sales environment. You will be responsible for leading a team involved in inbound and outbound sales activity, while also reviewing how the function operates day to day. This includes looking at systems, call activity, conversion rates, CRM usage, reporting, dashboards, follow-up cadence and overall sales process. The successful candidate will be someone who understands what a strong internal sales or call centre environment should look like. You will know how to set meaningful KPIs, improve consistency, coach performance and use data to identify where process, people or systems need to improve. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage an internal sales team across B2B and B2C activity Oversee inbound enquiry handling and outbound sales activity Review and improve sales processes, systems and workflow Establish clear KPIs around call activity, conversion, follow-up and pipeline performance Introduce or improve reporting, dashboards and team visibility Monitor CRM discipline and ensure consistent sales process adoption Coach, support and hold team members accountable to performance expectations Identify opportunities to improve telephone systems, sales tools or process efficiencies Coordinate activity across onshore and offshore team members Drive a culture of consistency, accountability, performance and customer service About You You will bring proven experience leading an internal sales, telesales, call centre or contact centre sales environment. You will be confident managing people, but also capable of stepping back and assessing the bigger picture — what is working, what is missing, and what needs to be improved. You will ideally have experience with: Internal sales, telesales or contact centre leadership Inbound and outbound sales environments Call activity, conversion metrics and performance dashboards CRM systems and sales pipeline discipline Sales process improvement and team accountability Coaching teams to improve consistency and results Managing onshore and/or offshore team members This role would suit a commercially minded sales leader who enjoys building structure, improving process and helping teams perform at a higher level.
