Job Title: Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Haematology and Oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating clinical trial activities, providing expert nursing care, and leading the conduct of clinical trials for patients.

About the Role:

">
* This is a dynamic role that bridges clinical care and research, ensuring high-quality data collection and optimal patient outcomes.
">
* You will work collaboratively with the Haematology/Oncology clinical team, other members of the clinical trials unit, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
">
* As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will have expertise in evidence-based medicine and research processes, ideally including knowledge of the Haematology/Oncology clinical trials space.
">

Key Responsibilities:

">
* Coordinate all aspects of care during and after clinical trial participation.
">
* Liaise with the Haematology/Oncology clinical team, other members of the clinical trials unit, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
">
* Provide expert nursing care and leadership to ensure high-quality data collection and optimal patient outcomes.
">
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
">

Requirements:

">
* A current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse / Midwife (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
">
* Relevant post-registration qualifications in Haematology/Oncology Nursing/Clinical trials, and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of the specified post-graduate qualification.
">
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate care, and knowledge of evidence-based medicine, ideally including a broad knowledge of research processes and methodology in the Haematology/Oncology clinical trials space.
">
* High computer literacy skills and extensive experience in using Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams and SharePoint), as well as familiarity and/or experience in using electronic patient record systems.
">
