The role:
We are seeking Laboratory Technicians and Preparation Samplers for our laboratory in Blackwater. Depending on your focus, you will use specialized equipment for testing coal samples or perform manual handling to prepare samples. You will also simulate coal production processes to test properties of coal samples. Full training is provided, and accommodation is at the mine site. This role is ideal for those wishing to pursue a career in the industry.
What's needed?
* Physically fit for manual handling tasks
* Sound numerical skills
* Methodical and organized approach
* Reliable, able to work shifts, weekends, and overtime
* QLD C Class manual driver's license and own transport
* Ideally CBM and STD11 certifications
* Relevant Laboratory Certifications are advantageous
Safety is paramount. Ongoing drug & alcohol testing and site inductions are required. NO FIFO.
