Retail Sales Associate Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Retail Sales Associate at a leading hardware store.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Greeting customers warmly and determining their needs
* Providing expert advice and assistance to customers on tool and steel products
* Assisting customers in locating merchandise and making purchasing decisions
* Processing transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system
* Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
* Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with restocking shelves
* Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
* Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous retail experience, preferably in a hardware or tool-related environment
* Strong knowledge of tools and steel products, including their uses and applications (preferred)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system
* MR driver's license (preferred)
