Hillarys Yacht Club is seeking an energetic, hands‐on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to help lead our growing hospitality operations and elevate the experience for our members, guests and visitors.

Located on the stunning waterfront at Hillarys Boat Harbour, this is an exciting opportunity to join one of Western Australia's leading yacht clubs and work in a unique lifestyle venue with restaurants, bars, events and member functions.

About the Role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key leadership role across daily operations while being developed and mentored into a future senior hospitality leader.

This is a true operational leadership role requiring flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays in line with club trading and events.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day service operations across bars, dining and events
* Deliver warm, professional and memorable member experiences
* Supervise, coach and motivate front-of-house team members
* Support rostering, labour control and productivity outcomes
* Assist with stock control, ordering and cost management
* Ensure presentation, cleanliness and service standards are exceptional
* Handle member feedback and resolve issues professionally
* Support functions, weddings, regattas and major club events
* Drive a positive workplace culture built on teamwork and accountability
* Work closely with and learn from the F&B Manager
About You
* Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality, clubs, pubs, hotels or restaurants
* Strong customer service and people leadership skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
* Passion for quality food, beverage and member service
* Sound understanding of RSA, compliance and venue operations
* Good administrative and communication skills
* Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
* Approved Manager card and RSA (or ability to obtain)
* A pre‐employment medical and Working with Children check will be required

Competitive salary package of $70k–$80k + super
