About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented Chef who strives in exceeding guests expectations and wants to join a team that prioritizes diversity, inclusion in a professional and fun working environment.
As a Commis Chef in the Pastry Department, you will be responsible for preparing consistent high-quality pastry items as per the department's operating concept and Hyatt standards.
* Assisting in preparing pastry products.
* Working in the Pastry Kitchen which services both our Promenade Café, Tea Lounge.
* Maintaining the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 1 year's work experience.
* Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded.
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery/Patisserie.
* Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards essential.
* A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment.
