About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher who is able to meet the individual needs’ of students and support each child’s development. We are seeking someone who is able to partner with families to promote students’ independence, mastery of foundational skills, and a strong sense of belonging here at Perenjori PS.
The Ideal Teacher
The successful applicant will ideally have sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be skilled in effectively differentiating the curriculum to cater for differing student needs. An understanding of Talk 4 Writing, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), National Quality Standards (NQS), the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and explicit teaching is highly desirable. An understanding of working with children with disability is also desirable.
You will ideally foster a love of learning and development of early literacy, numeracy and social skills. You should be motivated and committed to creating an engaging, inclusive and challenging learning environment; based on high accountability and sound expectations to ensure all students are achieving their maximum potential. The successful applicant will ideally be flexible, able to work in a small staff, have a strong work ethic and be able to develop positive, productive partnerships with students, colleagues and community.
