Administration Assistant
Casual, seasonal position during the busy tax season. Role available in H&R Block's Cranbourne office. Great job for people returning to the workforce or looking to earn extra income.
H&R Block is Australia's leading tax services company with over 400 offices across Australia. H&R Block prepares around seven hundred thousand tax returns for Australian taxpayers annually.
Duties Include
* Greeting clients when they enter the office.
* Answering telephone and email enquiries, making appointments, and providing basic information about services and fees.
* Setting up clients in our software system and downloading information from the ATO so it is ready for our tax specialists to meet with the client to prepare their return.
* Collecting payments from clients, issuing receipts, and banking duties as required.
* Following up with clients on outstanding documents needed so we can complete their tax return.
* Assisting in keeping the office neat and tidy, including maintaining the appearance of the premises to H&R Block standards.
What We Are Looking For
* Previous work experience in office administration.
* Friendly people with strong customer service skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software products quickly.
* Flexibility to work a variety of different shift times depending on local office needs.
* Police Check clearance.
* MyID access (https://www.myid.gov.au) and smart phone to enable you to log into ATO portal.
This is a casual, seasonal position - hours may vary from full time to 2-3 shifts per week depending on your local office needs.
