As part of Commercial Banking, serving medium to large Australian businesses ($15m–$150m turnover), delivering tailored insights and solutions to complex financial needs, driving sustainable growth through deep client understanding and innovation.
Your impact
You will be a key member of the Relationship Management team, undertaking in depth analysis and assessment of the risks or opportunities associated with lending to new customers, as well as the risks or opportunities associated with increases in credit facilities to existing clientele.

We have an amazing opportunity for a Credit Analyst in our Perth office, following an internal promotion—highlighting the career growth potential within our team. You’ll support the Relationship Management team by assessing lending risks and opportunities for new and existing clients.
Our focus is on businesses with turnovers up to $30M and lending up to $15M, across a fully diversified client base. This offers exposure to a broad range of industries and sophisticated Corporate Banking deals, all within a strong, successful business and a family-friendly culture with flexible working options.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct financial modelling and analysis for Business and Commercial Banking clients
- Prepare credit submissions for new facilities and coordinate documentation and funding
- Maintain portfolio data quality, compliance, and reporting (e.g. pipeline leads, calls, contacts, revenue vs plan)
- Monitor performance and complete annual reviews for existing clients, reporting financial and operational metrics to Risk
- Build strong working relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders
- Clearly structure and articulate the credit merits of transactions, identifying and mitigating key risks
We’re seeking an experienced business banking Credit Analyst or a highly skilled accountant / Auditor with strong financial analysis and modelling skills who can pivot to confidently engage with clients.
Specifically, you will have:
- Solid credit writing and commercial acumen, especially in analysing balance sheets, P&L;, cashflow forecasting, and unsecured lending
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Commerce
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Client service experience in a Commercial or Business Banking environment
- Ability to quickly understand complex transactions, with 'new to bank' and credit risk experience preferred
- A self-driven, adaptable team player eager to learn and grow
