About the Role
We're seeking a Financial Accountant to join our high‐performing finance team in a commercially driven FMCG environment. This role offers exposure across the full value chain; from costing and inventory through to promotions, pricing and supply chain performance.

What You'll Be Doing
* Own month‐end close activities, including journals, reconciliations and reporting
* Analyse sales, gross margin, COGS and promotional performance
* Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliations and SKU costing
* Investigate variances (PPV, production, wastage, write‐offs) and partner with operations to improve outcomes
* Track and reconcile trade spend, rebates and promotional accruals
* Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial modelling
* Prepare statutory returns (BAS, PAYG, FBT) and support compliance requirements
* Partner with non‐finance stakeholders to provide clear, actionable insights
What We're Looking For
* Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
* CA/CPA qualified or working towards this
* 3–5 years' experience in financial accounting
* Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or high‐volume environments preferred
* Strong Excel skills and ERP experience
* Commercial mindset with the ability to communicate with non‐finance teams
