As an activities companion, you'll form meaningful relationships with our residents, some of whom may be living with dementia. You'll need to be comfortable engaging with them and connecting them with our planned activities.
Our ideal candidate is someone who can dedicate their time and energy to making a positive impact at our centres.
Responsibilities include delivering musical performances at Bull Creek Club, facilitating art and craft or music activities at Osborne Park club, and interacting with clients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
Commitment details include regular sessions (more than 6 months), flexible hours (as little as an hour a week on weekdays only), and comprehensive initial orientation and ongoing support.
