About the Opportunity
* We are seeking an Experienced Machinist for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity based at our Bunbury Workshop.
About You
* 3+ Years Experience in a Similar Role, Australian Recognised Heavy Machinist Trade Certificate and Demonstrated CRN Machine Experience required.
* Current High Risk Work Licence (Highly Regarded) essential.
* Demonstrated experience in machining and maintaining components for machinery such as CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu.
* A strong commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of all employees is paramount.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
* Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
* Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug/Alcohol Screen.
Responsibilities
* Operate precision machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
* Fabricate and repair components to exact specifications using technical drawings and measurements.
* Conduct inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of machined parts.
* Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
* Maintain detailed records of machining processes, repairs, and tests performed.
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
* Meet deadlines while maintaining a strong approach to safety.
