Rosedale State School (K-12 campus) is seeking an experienced Head of Department (Secondary) to provide strong leadership in managing the senior secondary school and collaborate with other school leaders to uphold the school's strategic vision. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis.
About Rosedale State School Rosedale State School is a K-12 campus with 275 students, located between Agnes Waters and Bundaberg on the Burnett Coast, offering a rural atmosphere near the beach. About The Role The successful candidate will possess key knowledge of Senior Schooling in state schools, including familiarity with QCAA, VET, and other requirements. They should be skilled in tracking and managing student data and supporting staff across curriculum areas. The ideal candidate will be flexible, approachable, accountable, a good communicator, and a team player with a strong work ethic. Additional portfolio areas may be negotiated based on the candidate's strengths and interests.

Embed socially just practices into daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Engage in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
