About Us
We are seeking an experienced Assistant to support the daily care of young people in our residential care homes. As part of our Out of Home Care Program, you will play a vital role in shaping the experiences of young people while collaborating with the House Supervisor.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily care and ensure a nurturing and safe environment for residents.
* Step in during the House Supervisor's absence and provide leadership to the team.
* Work collaboratively with the House Supervisor to achieve program goals and objectives.
Requirements
* A current and valid Driver's Licence.
* A current and valid Employee Working with Children Check.
* Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by us).
* A valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* Relevant Diploma with substantial experience, including four additional mandatory competencies.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead, and support a team.
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field.
* Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
