Accounts Specialist duties and responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Post journal entries and reconcile ledgers on a regular basis.
- Ensure that all accounting data is properly filed and organized.
2. Accounts Payable Management
- Verify, process, and record vendor invoices.
- Ensure timely payment to suppliers and service providers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
3. Accounts Receivable Management
- Prepare and send customer invoices and payment reminders.
- Record incoming payments and maintain customer account statements.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and manage collections efficiently.
