Pay: $38.68 - $43.51 per hour

* Earning Potential: $110,000 - $125,000+ including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances inclusive of super
* $38.68 - $43.51 per hour, depending on skills and experience
* Tool Allowance: $17.90 payable weekly

Role Responsibilities
* Diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, assembling the fleet and ensuring safety, quality and Busways standards are followed at all times
* Maintaining all company vehicles and assets in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines
* Ensuring all maintenance work is performed according to company procedures
* Attend breakdowns and carry out any field‐related mechanical repairs
* Effectively and efficiently communicate any safety or maintenance issues
* Adhere to all Work, Health & Safety requirements while performing work duties
* Maintain clean workshop practices
* Report and repair all accident damage as required
* Perform ad‐hoc tasks and other duties as directed
Our workshop staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever‐evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road.
You can expect to be provided with all necessary training. This will include relevant information about our various makes and models of vehicles to ensure a thorough understanding of the standards required to meet contract obligations.

The Successful Applicant Will
* Hold the relevant trade qualifications (MVTC) essential
* Certificate III in commercial vehicle mechanical technology or above; will consider Certificate III in light vehicle mechanical technology with 4–5 years post‐apprenticeship experience in a similar role with the same level of responsibilities, which would be highly regarded
* Have experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles (training provided to develop these skills)
* Ensure adherence and understanding of WHS regulations and relevant company policies
* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
* Have experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules
* Apply a proactive approach with a drive for continuous improvement
* Be physically fit to carry out the necessities of the role
* Be willing to undergo a pre‐employment medical check and work‐with‐children check
* Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver's licence issued by the relevant State
Highly Regarded but Not Necessary
* Medium Rigid (MR) or above Australian driver's licence
* Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience (we provide training and development)
