Our client is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Senior Technical Consultant/Developer who specialises in developing and maintaining custom solutions on the Dynamics 365 platform.
This is initially a 6-month assignment, with the possibility of at least one 6-month extension and will be based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, with hybrid working possible.

Background
Our client has implemented the Dynamics 365 platform and supported by the broader Microsoft Power Platform.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the APAC Microsoft Applications team and help continue to unlock the benefits of the Dynamics 365 technology suite, with a particular focus on D365 CE and the integration between it and Finance & Operations.
Essential skills required
* 7+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE.
* A strong understanding of the Dynamics 365 platform and the broader Microsoft Power Platform.
* Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate.
* Mandatory experience designing and delivering Power Pages portals.
* Proven experience configuring Dataverse, including security and access controls.
* Demonstrated experience delivering solutions using Dynamics 365 Field Service.
* Hands-on experience with Dual-write - configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting data synchronization between CE and Finance & Operations.
* Experience with programming languages such as X++, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
* Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
* Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Consulting experience, including solution architecture, technical design, and stakeholder engagement across technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors or partners.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on complex initiatives.
* Able to manage multiple priorities within a large, enterprise environment.
Highly desirable skills
* Azure integration experience, including Azure Functions and Application Insights.
* Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.
* Familiarity with enterprise governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
