Your Career with Plena:

At Plena Healthcare, we offer more than just a job—we provide a dynamic, supportive environment where work-life balance is genuinely valued. Alongside a competitive salary based on experience (with annual reviews), you'll enjoy the flexibility you need to thrive both personally and professionally.

We are proud to offer a comprehensive 4-Stage Clinical Development Pathway designed to empower and educate our community Occupational Therapists (OTs). This pathway equips you with the skills and knowledge to support a wide range of clients, all while maintaining the high standards of person-centered care Plena is renowned for. Created by experienced community OTs, the pathway includes practical, relevant modules to help you grow professionally and advance in your career. With strong clinical and process support, this program ensures a rewarding and lasting career with Plena.

Who We Are:

Plena Healthcare is a national leader in allied health services, specializing in the Aged Care, Community, and Disability sectors. With over 20 years of experience, we're passionate about the care we provide to our clients, who are at the center of everything we do.

As a values-led organization, we act with energy, integrity, care, and connection. Our values reflect our commitment to our people, our clients, and the wider community. They define who we are, what we do, and how we do it.

Your Opportunity:

As a qualified Occupational Therapist in a community setting, you'll join a large, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team focused on delivering personalised care.

In this role, you'll leverage your OT expertise to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and well-being outcomes for our clients. You will be guided by clinical treatment pathways designed to achieve optimal rehabilitation and help our clients meet their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with clients referred through government-funded models such as Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and Private Funding.
* We are not your typical community provider—we set achievable and realistic billable KPIs to ensure success (ask us for more details).
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide clinical recommendations to improve clients' activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls risk prevention, equipment needs, pressure area care, skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
* Adapt and demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of Plena and community-based providers while working within the scope of Occupational Therapy practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of your clients while working within a supportive team environment. There's never been a better time to join the Plena team and contribute to fantastic consumer outcomes.

Plena Perks:

When you join the Plena Healthcare community, you'll unlock a wealth of benefits designed to support your professional development and personal well-being:

* Industry-Leading Professional Development Program: Including a Professional Development allowance that lets you choose how to invest in your growth, monthly profession-specific training, industry webinars, and Lunch & Learn sessions.
* Paid Induction and Training to set you up for success.
* Social Club and Team Connection to build strong relationships within our team.
* Health Kick: A financial allowance to support your fitness and well-being.
* Recognition Programs to celebrate your contributions.
* Ongoing Mentoring to help you grow and succeed.
* Treasure Chest Fund: A unique initiative where we give you money to brighten the day of one of your clients.
* $1,000 Referral Bonus – Share the opportunity with friends and get rewarded

To Join Our Inspiring Team, You Will Need:

* Current AHPRA registration
* Australian working rights
* Willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening and a National Police Check
