Our client is a national provider of high quality in-home care for ageing Australians, located up in the Dandenong Ranges in Upwey.
**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Client Services Manager, this is a new Training role due to the growth and expansion of this industry leader. You could come from an aligned industry eg Healthcare OR be a seasoned Home Care Support Worker wanting to move into training. Joining 30 office staff where your duties will include:
- Schedule and effectively deliver all CAREGiver learning and development programs
- Work alongside the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator to ensure that CAREGivers have a seamless engagement and orientation experience through to their first shift as a CAREGiver.
- Deliver orientation and other classroom based mandatory training including workplace health and safety and manual handing training in an engaging, inclusive and informative manner that supports all types of learners with varying levels of experience and knowledge.
- Administer all functions of the Learning Management System including enrolments, reporting, marking classes and general administration for management of users.
- Supervise CAREGiver RPL enrolment and accreditation for Certificate III in Individual Support in conjunction with the National Offices' Learning and Development Manager and inhouse RTO
- Conduct workplace observations for individual CAREGivers and provide specific training of CAREGivers in a client home as required.
- Provide individual or group training as required to meet individual CAREGiver professional development needs.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Experience in workplace training with Certificate IV in Training and Assessment being highly regarded.
- Experience and knowledge of the Aged Care Industry with preferably a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent or higher.
- Passionate about aged care and making a difference
- Strong communication and organisational skills
