Job Summary
A highly motivated and influential CHPP Electrical Maintenance Supervisor responsible for the safe execution of electrical maintenance activities, leading a team and supporting mine maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
* Provide world‐class leadership by setting a visible example, mentoring staff, and driving safety and asset management outcomes.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with planning, engineering and operations personnel.
* Actively participate in consultative maintenance planning processes.
* Apply experience in asset management principles and CMMS (preferably SAP).
* Maintain strong computer literacy in Excel, Word and other Microsoft packages.
* Supervise and guide the safe execution of electrical inspections, repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, legislative requirements and the Electrical Engineering Control Plan.
* Control costs at the point of execution in accordance with operational budgets.
Qualifications
* NSW Department of Fair‐Trade Electrical Supervisors Certificate.
* Training and experience in high‐voltage switching and maintenance.
* Experience working with VSDs and PLC control systems.
* Positive attitude, reliability and proactive commitment to work.
* Team player with high safety awareness and a drive for outstanding performance.
Desired Additional Qualifications
* Post‐trade qualification in PLCs and/or instrumentation.
* Supplementary asset management credentials (highly regarded).
