Trade Counter Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and information about products, as well as undertaking pick packing and stock control activities.
About the Role
* You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
* You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date with new products and technologies.
* You will assist with sales transactions, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
* You will contribute to a positive and productive work environment by being a team player and demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions.
* Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
* Assist with stock control, including receiving and storing inventory.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
