The Role:
We are seeking an SOP Writer to develop, update, and standardise SOPs across our manufacturing operations. This role requires hands on engagement with our equipment, machinery, processes, and people.
The role includes:
* Develop, write, and refine SOPs for production processes, machinery operation, and general manufacturing workflows
* Observe tasks on the floor and translate them into clear, practical procedures
* Ensure all SOPs meet WHS requirements and internal safety standards
* Work closely with managers, supervisors and operators to validate steps and incorporate feedback
* Identify process gaps and improve workflow clarity during documentation
About you:
* Practical mechanical aptitude (comfortable understanding machinery and production workflows)
* Demonstrated experience writing SOPs within a production, manufacturing, or similar operational environment
* Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into user friendly documentation
* Strong communication skills and the ability to extract accurate process details from multiple departments
* High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
