Assistant Banquet Manager

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Banquet Manager. As a key member of our banquets team, you will be responsible for the preparation, management and execution of events.

You will personally assist all guests by delivering on our promise of exceptional service. You will also coordinate with the banquet culinary team and catering & events sales team to ensure that events run smoothly and meet our guests' expectations.

We are looking for someone who has strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt and work well under pressure. You will also have a great understanding of financial controls and administrative responsibilities.

In addition, you will identify training opportunities and assist the assistant beverage & food manager in training talent according to our standards. You will lead the team to be their best every day and maintain a positive work culture.


Responsibilities:

1. Lead the banquets team in the preparation, management and execution of events.
2. Personally assist all guests by delivering exceptional service.
3. Coordinate with the banquet culinary team and catering & events sales team to ensure smooth event execution.
4. Develop and implement effective strategies to improve event quality and guest satisfaction.
5. Identify and develop training opportunities for team members.
6. Maintain a positive and productive work environment.


Requirements:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to adapt and work well under pressure.
* Great understanding of financial controls and administrative responsibilities.
* Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
