About the team
The NSW Government Brand, Advertising and Engagement team at the Department of Customer Service leads, delivers and reviews all-of-government brand, engagement and advertising strategies, policies, programmes and services to meet government objectives and priorities.
The Advertising Reviews and Effectiveness team leads delivery of all-of-government advertising services and advice to ensure campaigns follow policy and legal requirements and deliver strong results. The team oversees the review and approval of campaigns and provides specialist support including diverse and digital focus to optimise campaign impact.
What You'll Do
* Review and assess government advertising campaigns, ensuring they meet policy and legal requirements while driving strong outcomes.
* Provide expert digital advertising guidance to improve campaign performance across social, video, display, digital audio, OOH and owned channels.
* Support agencies with practical, inclusive advice, helping them meaningfully reach culturally and linguistically diverse communities and people of all abilities.
* Problem solve and respond to queries across the advertising lifecycle, from strategy through execution, measurement and optimisation.
* Champion best practice in digital efficiency, analytics, targeting and the use of government-owned assets.
* Help uplift capability within NSW Government through collaboration, coaching and high-quality stakeholder engagement.
What We're Looking For
* Experienced in paid digital advertising, with strong working knowledge across social, programmatic, video, display, digital audio and OOH.
* Confident in analytics and platforms such as Campaign Manager, DV360, Meta Business Manager and Google Analytics.
* Skilled in end-to-end campaign management, from creative development through to reporting and optimisation.
* A proactive, collaborative communicator, able to influence stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
* Naturally curious, solutions focused and comfortable juggling diverse priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
NSW Government experience or familiarity with government communications.
