An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic psychologist to lead our multidisciplinary team as Director of Psychology at Bendigo Health. Bendigo Health employs approximately 25 psychologists across a diverse range of clinical programs.
In this key leadership role, you will provide professional governance for all psychologists across the organisation. Responsibilities include workforce planning and development, professional supervision frameworks, the psychology registrar program, student placement programs, and the ongoing quality and development of psychology services.
You will play an important role in fostering excellence in clinical practice, supporting staff development, and shaping the future of psychology services within a large and progressive regional health service.
Your role involves collaborating with Monash University to teach medical students completing their psychiatry rotation at the Monash Rural School of Health in Bendigo, and may include a clinical caseload in an appropriate area of practice.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing psychology registrar and student placement programs, driving quality improvement and service development initiatives, and supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and education across the health service.
